Prudent, But Not A Prude; Engaging The Absolute

Engagement, Distance, Analysis Paralysis

We seek contact with others but don't want to either overextend, or stunt a moment. We don't want to miss out, or over-commit. We want to be in touch, but sometimes from a distance. -
We only have so much time for certain people, actually for all people, if put in context of a lifetime.

Everyone has their limits, but what about engaging with something unlimited - such as the conscious universe/God/Source? If we could speak to our Source, how much time could we budget or handle?
We are being called to use discretion, prudence, in culling disinformation from the vital; and at the same time engage the heart and mind in self-actuation - showing up to experience universal love.
We have to have the information available to give us the strength of heart to know that steps toward love unconditional, will be reciprocated at least in kind, if not magnified. In fact it is by experiencing a greater love than we can imagine, that we can release old stagnant patterns and misconceptions.
By opening one's heart to one's Higher Power sincerely, God/Source/Universe will respond.
The process is the same in all spiritual traditions; for one willing to seek, one shall find and be found.

Playing Nice In This Universe Of Matter And Spirit

The Supreme Lord said: My dear friend, mighty-armed Arjuna, listen again to My supreme word, which I shall impart to you for your benefit and which will give you great joy.

I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.

The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are surrendered to Me, and they derive great satisfaction and bliss enlightening one another and conversing about Me.

To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.

Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance.

From Bhagavad Gita As It Is - Chapter 9, Verses 1,8,9,10,11

To be engaged with the Absolute, in the service of the Absolute, one can choose prayers/mediation from multiple traditions.

One highly recommended ancient Sanskrit (Vedic) mantra meditation, is to repeat the following:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

There are no hard and fast rules for chanting this prayer. It asks the divine energy of God to engage one in the divine service of the one God/Source who lives in each heart next to each individual soul.

Just one of over 8 billion or so people temporarily camping out on planet earth. Eternally grateful to my Guide, Mentor, and loving Spiritual Father
His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada; the rarest of pure souls who embodied love of God. He freely taught others by his example, illuminating the path back home, back to Godhead.
